my bookshelf 📚

Most of my reading happens through headphones now - while knitting, on walks, at night with the baby. Great for my wallet (since I use library to check out the audiobooks), not so great for my real bookshelves, which look nothing like my Goodreads account. So I built a digital one.

What it does:

• Every morning it pulls my Goodreads shelves and puts each year on its own shelf.
• Each spine takes its color from the book's cover.
• Hover over a book and it hops; click it and it slides out and turns to show the cover.
• 4★ books get a gold star, 5★ get gold bands, and books I didn't finish lie flat on their side.
• The loved filter shows just my favorites, and you can leave a margin note on any book.
